MCGC: Now the Biggest Group in the Parish in terms of membership

The Ministry of Church Greeters and Collectors scored another milestone this year when it reached the highest number of membership among the ministries and organizations in the Parish right now reflective of an effective recruitment campaign in less than two (2) months. The MCGC opened its doors last July 2009 to new members with the help of Ms. Alice Maunahan-Javier and some of the existing members who actively recruited their friends and classmates. From a small number of less than twenty (20) members, the group grew to sixty (60) members as of September 06, 2009.

Note: There are other two (2) members of from Resurreccion Chapel that were excluded from the lists due to concerns on their full names but they are official members of the ministry also. Including them membership is now at 62 to be exact. As of last Sunday, September 06, 2009, there are still applicants that are still in the process of screening and expected to be included after they have undergone the required orientation and training. The target of MCGC is to assign minimum of sixteen members for each Mass that will serve as Greeters (8) and Collectors (8) and to be able to deploy new members to Masses at Pavilion Mall and Platero Chapel by the end of October 2009.
